Sigourney Weaver is going to Washington — and it's not to stump for one of her many causes.
Weaver stars as Elaine Barrish, a divorced former First Lady and current Secretary of State in the upcomig USA Network miniseries "Political Animals."
The six-episode series, from Greg Berlanti ("Brothers & Sisters") and Laurence Mark ("Dreamgirls"), is slated for a July 15 premiere, and co-stars Adrian Pasdar, Carla Gugino, James Wolk and Brittany Ishibashi.
