The cast of “Will and Grace” took to social media Sunday night to share their heartbreak of the death of one of their own — Shelley Morrison, who played Karen’s maid, Rosario.
“My heart is heavy,” wrote Megan Mullally, who worked the closest with Morrison for the seven seasons she was on the show.

Morrison died Sunday of heart failure after a brief illness at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, her publicist said in a statement. She was 83.
“Oh, Shelley… what a loss,” Debra Messing posted on Instagram, including a short clip of a Rosario-Grace encounter. “Our dear Rosario has passed on. Shelley had a career that spanned decades, but she will always be our dear Rosie. All my love to Walter and the entire family.”

“Shelley was a beautiful soul & a wonderful actor,” Eric McCormack tweeted. “Her work as Rosario, season after season, was as nuanced and real as it was hysterical. And Sean Hayes, who was the first to pay his respects, said Morrison was “absolutely hilarious” and said she had “the biggest heart.”
“Such sad news. Our beloved Shelley Morrison passed away today. She was absolutely hilarious and had the biggest heart. She was a part of our Will and Grace family and will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to her entire family,” he wrote.
