The first trailer for the upcoming second season of “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power” has been revealed, and the Princess Rebellion is gaining ground in its fight against the Evil Horde.
The new season sees Adora accepting her identity as She-Ra, leader of the Princess Alliance while embarking on a quest of self-discovery to learn more about her past and her future. With She-Ra’s former pal Catra rising the ranks of the Evil Horde, the rebellion must fight to thwart her next attack.
She-Ra’s ally Glimmer added that the rebellion will “handle this the way we always do — by sticking together and never giving up.”
Renewed for a second season in January, the reboot of the ’80s cartoon tells the story of Adora (Aimee Carrero), an orphan who leaves behind her former life in the Evil Horde when she discovers a magic sword that transforms her into She-Ra, the legendary warrior princess. Along the way, she finds a new family in the rebellion as she unites a group of magical princesses in the ultimate fight against evil.
