Seth Meyers devoted his “A Closer Look” segment to one very important topic on Wednesday night: porn. Or rather the President Trump scandal involving adult film star Stormy Daniels.
Meyers tackled reports that Trump’s lawyer allegedly gave Daniels a $130,000 payout as hush money to keep her affair with POTUS under wraps. The “Late Night” host said if the scandal had come out during the 2016 presidential election the conversation leading up to Nov. 8 would have become a little more graphic.
“The last month of the campaign might have been dominated by two people named Stormy Daniels and Anthony Weiner,” Meyers said. “Is it possible that the 2016 campaign was a porno? Are we living in a porno?” Meyers wondered aloud.
Meyers also came to the realization that Trump “acts the way a president does in a porno,” by just yelling out the names of different countries at random.
