Hulu just got a little more awesome — or at least, “Awesomes.” The Seth Meyers’ Hulu series, “The Awesomes,” has been renewed for a third season.

The adult animated show from Meyers — who also stars as Prock — and Mike Shoemaker will be back with Season 3 in 2015.

“The Awesomes” follows the greatest superhero team ever after its most powerful members have departed.

The second season premiered on Aug. 4 and introduced new characters voiced by fellow “Saturday Night Live” alums Amy Poehler, Will Forte, Maya Rudolph and current “SNL” cast member Kate McKinnon.

The Hulu series stars Meyers, Ike Barinholtz, Bill Hader, Taran Killam, Rashida Jones, Paula Pell, Josh Meyers, Kenan Thompson, Bobby Lee, Steve Higgins, Emily Spivey and Bobby Moynihan.

“The Awesomes” is a Hulu co-production with Broadway Video and is executive produced by Meyers, Shoemaker, Broadway Video’s Andrew Singer and Bento Box Entertainment. Bento Box Entertainment also serves as the animator.

“When we first premiered season one of ‘The Awesomes’ two years ago, we knew it was going to be a big success for Hulu,” said Beatrice Springborn, Head of Originals, Hulu. “With a growing fan base from season to season and a cast featuring some of the funniest people on television, it was a natural decision for us to renew the show for a third season.”
