A new comedy script from Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions and Universal TV has been sold to NBC, TheWrap has learned. The series, titled “Woman Scouts,” tells the story of a feminist who drops out of grad school to start an adult Girl Scout troop.

Here’s the official logline: After dropping out of grad school, a feminist pledges to kickstart the lives of a group of women by becoming an adult Girl Scout troop. There’s no limit to what life achievement badge they can conquer together, if they can just figure out the whole sisterhood thing first.

The series is written and co-executive produced by former “Late Night with Seth Meyers” writer Allison Hord. Seth Meyers, Mike Shoemaker and Charlie Grandy executive produce. The comedy comes from Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions and Universal TV.

Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions produces the NBC comedy “A.P. Bio,” starring Glenn Howerton and Patton Oswalt, which is in its second season.
