Luckily, Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ real-life marriage is faring much better than her long-divorced “Veep” character Selina Meyer. The Emmy-winning actress celebrated her 30th wedding anniversary with husband Brad Hall Sunday with an Instagram photo that doesn’t need a “#throwback” — because the puffy wedding dress sleeves say it all.
The photo pictures Louis-Dreyfus and her husband in ’80s wedding fashion next to a small pond with water lilies and statues. She captioned the photo “30 years a go today. So far so good.”

Last year, she posted a similar throwback photo from their wedding day in 1987. “29 years ago today. A good choice. #remain,” she captioned that one. We’d like to think Louis-Dreyfus means #remain loyal to that iconic ’80s style.

Louis-Dreyfus met Hall while they were both at Northwestern University. Louis-Dreyfus auditioned for one of Hall’s theater productions, and it was love at first sight. “I would say that I knew almost immediately. It’s really the truth,” she told Craig Ferguson in 2013.
The couple has two sons, Henry, 24, and Charlie, 20.
HBO’s “Veep” Season 6 finale aired Sunday night.
