A second woman has come forward accusing Steven Seagal of sexually assaulting her during an audition, claiming the actor fondled her breasts and grabbed her crotch.
In an Instagram post Friday, Dutch model Faviola Dadis said she met the actor around 2002 while auditioning for an epic about Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol Empire. (The movie was never made).
“I thought it would be my big break into acting,” Dadis told TheWrap. “I grew up watching his movies, it was a big deal.”
Dadis said that after two call backs, she was invited to a “private audition” at the W Hotel in Beverly Hills. She said she was told to wear a bikini under her clothes so that Seagal and his team could evaluate her figure and was promised that a PA and a casting director would be present.
But when she got to the hotel room, Seagal and his security guard were the only ones there.
“Steven is an imposing man and his security guard was even bigger than him. So when his assistant excused himself and left, I thought it was weird.”
Dadis said Seagal asked her to take off her clothes and walk through the room in her bikini. He then approached her and said he wanted to act out a “romantic scene.”
“I expressed that I was uncomfortable with that especially since I was in my bikini,” she said. “And then he started pinching my nipples and grabbing my crotch area with his other hand. I quickly yelled ‘This audition is over!’”
She said she tried to run out of the room but was blocked by Seagal’s security guard. “I began yelling: ‘I need to leave right now this is B.S. I need to leave right now!’ He motioned to his security guard to let me go and I ran out.”
A representative for Seagal did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
“He reached out to me a couple of days later as if nothing had happened,” she said.
TheWrap spoke to Dadis’ mother and her ex-boyfriend, who both corroborated her account.
Dadis says she never reported the incident fearing retribution. “It took me years to get over my PTSD,” she said.
Dadis is the second woman to accuse Seagal of sexual misconduct. Earlier on Wednesday, actress Portia de Rossi wrote on Twitter that Seagal previously “unzipped” his pants during an audition with her.
“My final audition for a Steven Seagal movie took place in his office,” she wrote. “He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather pants.”
The “Ally McBeal” alum, who is married to Ellen DeGeneres, said this led her to run out of the office and call her agent.
“Unfazed, she replied, ‘Well, I didn’t know if he was your type,’” de Rossi said about her agent.
This follows actress Julianna Margulies telling a radio show host last week about a “horrific” encounter with Seagal from years ago that involved the actor’s gun.
