Indie distributor Screen Media Films has acquired all domestic rights for Lexi Alexander's military drama "Lifted."
The film follows a young boy from Alabama who takes part in a singing competition in order to help his mother after his Marine reservist father is recalled to active duty in Afghanistan. It has received endorsements from several military support orgnaizations.
A platform theatrical release is planned for March 2011.
