Science announced Thursday that it has ordered a second season of "An Idiot Abroad," and that it will be a production partner this time around.
"An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List," featuring Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and Karl Pilkington, is already in producution.

Since its premiere in January, "An Idiot Abroad" has drawn 20 million viewers, the network said. The second season will again feature the closed-minded Pilkington being sent on a "forced quest" around the globe.
“I’ve never understood the ‘things to do before you die’ idea,” said Pilkington. “If I was ill, I’d be in no mood to have a swim with a dolphin."
TV Guide notes that because season two of the show will be a Science co-production (with U.K.-based Mentorn Media) rather than an international import, it will be eligible for Emmys.
HBO announced last week that it has picked up "The Ricky Gervais Show" for a third season.
