Steven Spielberg and John Goldwyn’s daughters have landed a script development deal for their prospective single camera comedy, “Girls Without Boys,” an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.
The possible series follows the misadventures of three brilliant but socially challenged girls as they navigate the world outside of their girls-only schools with the help of their eccentric teachers and parents. It’s inspired the girls’ real life single-sex education growing up.

It will be executive produced by “The Office” star Rashida Jones and “In Plain Sight” actor Will McCormack through their Le Train Train production company with Warner Bros. Television. “Up All Night” co-EP Caroline Williams will executive produce and serve as the project’s showrunner.
Last week, Jones and McCormack’s pilot, “A to Z,” landed at NBC with a put pilot commitment.
