Samuel L. Jackson is encouraging men to “kick cancer in the nuts” in partnership with testicular cancer awareness campaign, One For the Boys.
“So boys, don’t be dumb. If you really got balls, show them to your doctor,” the actor says in the video (above) promoting the cause. “Here at One For the Boys, we’d like to kick cancer in the nuts. We want men to know that it’s important to talk about this stuff, and if they like their balls as much as their life, better pay attention.”

Jackson is offering to spend the day in London with the lucky winner of a raffle raising money for the organization through charity crowdfunding website MyGoodness. The winner and a friend will be treated to lunch with the “Avengers” star, plus tickets to his charity fashion ball.
Although more women are diagnosed with cancer than men, more men are dying from it — “30 motherf–kin’ percent” more, according to Jackson.

“Why? Because they don’t get themselves checked out early enough,” Jackson said. “They don’t want to hear or talk about it, because it ain’t the manly thing to do.”
Jackson is the chairman of One For the Boys, which is also supported by actors Michael Douglas and Russell Brand.
