Marvel’s “Black Panther” took home best cast in a motion picture and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” won big sweeping the TV comedy categories as the 25th Screen Actors Guild Awards comes to a close.
The night started with Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” winning back-to-back for male actor in a comedy series, female actor in a comedy series and best ensemble in a comedy series. Rachel Brosnahan’s win means she has won for her performance at SAG, the Emmys, Golden Globes, Critics Choice and the TCA for this year’s awards circuit.
Oscar nominee and five-time Emmy winner Alan Alda accepted this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award. “When the culture is divided. Actors can help. Just a little bit,” Alda said during his speech.
“Will & Grace” star Megan Mullally hosted the 25th annual SAG Awards ceremony, which aired live on both TBS and TNT.
