Sacha Baron Cohen Spoofs Spy Genre in First ‘Brothers Grimsby’ Trailer (Video)

Comedy co-starring Mark Strong will open in theaters on Mar. 4

Sony released the first trailer for the Sacha Baron Cohen spy comedy “The Brothers Grimsby” on Friday.

The trailer opens with a superspy, played by Mark Strong, going on a POV rampage to take down a den of criminals. We then cut to the spy’s brother (Cohen) in the throes of passion with his girlfriend (Rebel Wilson) in a very public setting.

The film follows Strong’s character as one of Britain’s top spies who is forced to team up with his soccer hooligan brother in order to complete a mission.

Annabelle Wallis, Isla Fisher, Ian McShane, and Penélope Cruz also star in the film. “Now You See Me” and “The Incredible Hulk” director Louis Leterrier led the project, based on a screenplay by Cohen, Phil Johnston and Peter Baynham.

“The Brothers Grimsby” opens in theaters on Mar. 4, 2016.
