Ryan Seacrest to Host New Fox Series ‘Knock Knock Live’

The reality show, premiering July 21, will grant wishes to unsuspecting people at their front door

TV and radio personality Ryan Seacrest will host and executive produce “Knock Knock Live,” a Fox summer reality show that grants wishes to unsuspecting people.

The weekly reality event, premiering live July 21 at 9 p.m. ET, enlists friends, families, neighbors and celebrities to help grant wishes with a “knock knock” on the door.

While Seacrest stays in the Los Angeles-based studio, a “Knock Knock Live” team will travel across the country, one city at a time, to grant cash prizes, give unsuspecting people a chance to meet their favorite celebrities, and fulfill other wishes that might have seemed unimaginable previously.

The surprises range anywhere from shooting hoops with your favorite NBA player to winning thousands of dollars for answering a trivia-like question.

Simon Fuller‘s (“American Idol”) XIX Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions will produce the show, .

Fuller has overseen the careers of stars like Annie Lennox, The Spice Girls, Lisa Marie Presley, Carrie Underwood and Amy Winehouse.

Other executive producers include Michael Herwick, Allen Shapiro, Mike Mahan, Mark Bracco, Stijn Bakkers, and Nicolle Yaron.

Seacrest is the host of 102.7 KIIS FM’s morning show, “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” and has been the Emmy-nominated host for all 14 seasons of “American Idol.”

Seacrest and Dick Clark Productions have worked together on “Dick Clark‘s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest.”
