Ryan Reynolds is the apple of Anna Kendrick‘s eye in the first trailer for “The Voices.” Unfortunately for her, he’s also a crazy person who kills people when his cat and dog tell him to.
The first trailer for the dark comedy reveals Gemma Arterton (“Hansel & Gretel”) is Reynold’s first victim, and becomes another voice in his delusional head. Meanwhile, Jacki Weaver (“Animal Kingdom”) plays Reynold’s psychologist, and her character doesn’t appear to be doing a very good job.
“The Voices” is directed by Oscar nominated Iranian filmmaker Marjane Satrapi (“Persepolis”) and marks the acting debut of producer Adi Shankar, best known for executive producing action flicks “The Grey” and “Dredd,” as well as several “bootleg” Marvel short films.
