Ryan Reynolds will receive CinemaCon's Male Star of the Year Award, the trade show announced on Thursday.
Reynolds will pick up his honor at a ceremony March 31 in The Colosseum of Caesars Palace.
"The Proposal" star is set to appear in "Green Lantern" this summer, a big screen adaptation of the popular comic book. He'll play the ring wearing, crime fighting superhero.
Following “Green Lantern,” Reynolds stars with Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde in “The Change-Up,” a comedy about a married guy who switches bodies with his best friend in order to woo his co-worker. Reynolds is currently filming the action thriller “Safe House,” co-starring Denzel Washington.
He recently appeared in the horror film "Buried."
