Russell Simmons has again been accused of sexual misconduct, and this accusation comes with a $5 million lawsuit attached to it.

In her suit, filed Wednesday in federal court in California, Jennifer Jarosik says that Simmons raped her at his Los Angeles home in August 2016.

According to the suit, Jarosik, an aspiring documentary producer, first met Simmons in New York City and befriended him. Simmons offered to be interviewed for Jarosik’s documentary, as well as to co-produce and finance it.

In August 2016, the suit says, Simmons invited Jarosik to his Los Angeles home, where he asked her to have sex. When she declined, the suit says, Simmons became “aggressive” knocking Jarosik off of his bed, and she hit her head.

“Defendant pounced on her while she was still in shock and fear, and proceeded to rape her,” the lawsuit reads.

TheWrap has reached out to Simmons’ legal representative for comment.

The suit, which alleges sexual assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress, seeks $5 million in damages.

In the piece, Dixon (a former Def Jam Records employee), Sallie (a former music journalist) and Baker (a performer) say Simmons raped them in separate incidents that spanned from 1988 to 2014. Those three women joined two others who have gone on the record with sexual misconduct accusations against Simmons.
