RuPaul to Star in ‘Draggiest Christmas Movie Ever Made’ for VH1 Holiday Film Slate

“The Bitch Who Stole Christmas” highlights the network’s “Naughty or Nice” lineup that also features Nick Cannon, Lil Kim, Ne-Yo and more

Christmas is coming early at VH1 this year, as the network is launching its first-ever slate of Christmas movies it’s calling the “Naughty or Nice” holiday lineup, all highlighted by a film starring RuPaul described as “the draggiest Christmas movie ever made.”

RuPaul will star in “The Bitch Who Stole Christmas,” which is is one of five movies that will begin airing on VH1 on Nov. 29 and each week throughout December.

VH1 has also gift wrapped Jamie Foxx, Eva Longoria and Cannon as some of the stars executive producing its holiday slate.

The five films on the “Naughty or Nice” list are the cheerfully titled “Adventures in Christmasing,” “The Bitch Who Stole Christmas,” “Hip Hop Family Christmas,” “Let’s Get Merried” and “Miracles Across 125th Street.”

Among the highlights of these films, “The Bitch Who Stole Christmas” will star RuPaul in a film about a workaholic big-city fashion journalist who is sent to a Christmas-obsessed small town to dig up a story when she finds herself in the middle of cut-throat housewives, a high-stakes “Winter Ball” competition and a sinister plot that could destroy Christmas fore-evah! It airs Thursday, Dec. 2, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

The film is directed by Don Scardino and stars Krysta Rodriguez, Andy Ridings, Michelle Visage, Ginger Minj, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Peppermint, Jan Sport, Jaymes Mansfield, Latrice Royale, Gottmik, Morgan McMichaels, Porkchop, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, Chad Michaels, Heidi N Closet, Kelly Mantle, Kimora Blac, Laganja Estranja, Manila Luzon, Mayhem Miller, Pandora Boxx, Raven, Rock M. Sakura, Kylie Sonique Love, Kim Petras, Charo and Anna Maria Horsford.

Cannon is writing, directing, executive producing and starring in “Miracles Across 125th Street,” which stars him alongside rapper Lil Kim and is the story of a Harlem rapper who, after battling drug addiction, returns to his family’s church to confront his past on Christmas Eve. It airs Monday, Dec. 20, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

“Adventures in Christmasing” stars Kim Fields with a story she co-wrote and is about a meticulous talk show host who finds her Christmas plans upended when her network persuades her to spend three days in the wild with a superstar adventurer and television survivalist Finn Holt for a holiday television event. It airs Nov. 29, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

“Hip Hop Family Christmas” is executive produced by Jamie Foxx and stars Ne-Yo, Keri Hilson and a group of other hip hop artists in a film about hip-hop’s most famous family as they agree to participate in a live Christmas television special to address negative press and soften their image. It airs Monday, Dec. 6, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

“Let’s Get Merried” is executive produced by Eva Longoria and stars Mishel Prada and Xosha Roquemore. The film is set at Christmas over a bachelorette weekend at a Christmas-themed adventure theme park. It airs Monday, Dec. 13, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
