Irish festival concludes six-day run with audience and jury prizes

The features “The Runaway” and “The Pipe,” and the short films “Noreen,” “Mister Heaney – A Wee Portrait” and “Bow St.” were among the winners at the Galway Film Fleadh, a festival which concluded Sunday night in the Irish city.

The feature film awards at Galway were chosen by votes of the festival’s audience, while the awards for shorts were chosen by three different juries.

The six-day festival screened 100 features and 115 short films.
