Roger Pollock is out as Paramount Pictures International’s executive vice president of distribution and operation, the studio said on Monday.
“Roger has been integral in positioning Paramount International as a market leader in global distribution and we are grateful for all he has done,” Anthony Marcoly, president of Paramount International, said in a statement.
No replacement was announced, although it sounds as though Paramount plans to divide Pollock's portfolio into two.
The studio said his successor in Europe will be named in the coming weeks, but it did announce that Mark Viane, currently senior vice president distribution in Europe, will be tasked with overseeing Latin America and Asia Pacific. Viane will return to Los Angeles for his new post.
Both positions will now report directly to Marcoly.
