Warner Bros. has clarified their release schedule and added a few dates for anticipated upcoming movies.
Bradley Cooper’s “A Star Is Born,” which recently added Lady Gaga as a lead, will roll out on Sept. 28, 2018.
Based on William Wellman’s 1937 classic starring Janet Gaynor and Fredric March, the story follows a fading movie star who helps a young actress as his own career goes downhill.
Cooper will also star. Billy Gerber and Jon Peters will produce, alongside Cooper and Todd Phillips under their Joint Effort Productions banner.
Dwayne Johnson will also serve up a new action franchise hopeful in “Rampage,” a New Line Cinemas production based on the video game of the same name in which three giant monsters destroy cities and national monuments. “Rampage” hits April 20, 2018.
Also, from MGM, Warner Bros. will release “Everything, Everything” from director Stella Meghie — the breakout behind the criminally underrated SXSW gem “Jean of the Joneses.”
The YA adaptation follows a teen with SCID (severe combined immunodeficiency), which causes an allergy to virtually everything, who falls in love with the boy next door. It opens Aug. 18, 2017.
