Robert Pattinson is moving on from playing world's sexiest vampire Edward Cullen to portray another kind of bloodsucker: An opportunistic journalist bent on sleeping his way to the top of Parisian society.
The "Twilight" heartthrob stars in the upcoming period film "Bel Ami," based on a Guy de Maupassant novel. In the movie, Pattinson plays Georges Duroy, a young writer who rises to power in the City of Light, one female conquest at a time. Nice work, if you can get it — but he appears to make an enemy or two along the way.
"Bel Ami," which co-stars Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci, arrives in theaters March 2. Until that golden moment, check out the latest trailer for the film to see him in action.
