Rob Reiner is in talks to join Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street,” the film adaption of Jordan Belfort’s best-selling memoir of the same name, TheWrap learned Wednesday.
Reiner, director of “ A Few Good Men,” would star as Max, Belfort’s father. Leonardo DiCaprio will star as Belfort. The cast also includes Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Jon Bernthal.
“Boardwalk Empire” creator Terence Winter has adapted Belfort’s memoir for the big screen while Red Granite’s Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland are producing alongside DiCaprio, Scorsese and Emma Koskoff and Alexandra Milchan.
Reiner has not acted in a feature since 2003’s “Alex & Emma,” which he also directed and produced.
