“The Last Jedi” director Rian Johnson doesn’t seem too disappointed in a bad review from Trump-affiliated porn star Stormy Daniels.
“F— you Rian Johnson,” Daniels tweeted in December, prompting a retweet Thursday from Johnson, who added a smiley face emoji with starry eyes.
Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal reported that Daniels was paid $130,000 in hush money from Trump’s team in October 2016. Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen stated that the adult film performer denied the accusations, but WSJ reporters were not able to verify that directly with Daniels.
Following that report, In Touch Weekly ran a years-old interview in which Daniels reportedly detailed her relationship with Trump.
“[The sex] was textbook generic,” Daniels said, in an interview that In Touch chose not to run in 2011. It “was nothing crazy. It was one position, what you would expect someone his age to do.”
Many of Johnson’s followers were amused by Johnson’s unearthing of Daniels’ tweet, including Luke Skywalker himself. Of course, Mark Hamill wasn’t going to let his director take all the credit for Daniels’ disdain for the flick. The “Last Jedi” star tweeted a screenshot of Johnson’s response to the porn actress, adding: “Another satisfied customer.” He threw in a kiss for good measure.
