Sean “Diddy” Combs’ must think Roma Khanna is the macaroni with the cheese, because his Revolt Media and TV just named the MGM Studios alum its new CEO.

Khanna was formerly president of MGM Studios, where she oversaw the development of Hulu hit “Handmaid’s Tale,” and helped shepherd FX’s “Fargo” and History’s “Vikings.”

With Khanna’s help, Revolt will look to expand beyond television to produce and distribute both short and long-form content, the company said on Wednesday. She’ll be based in Los Angeles and report to Combs and the Revolt board of directors.

“As Revolt continues to grow as a brand and expand globally, I knew we needed a seasoned executive with a proven track record to keep the momentum going and help me lead the network into the future,” said Combs. “Roma is that person. “She has the experience and tenacity to build on Revolt’s success and as we continue to influence content and culture around the world.”

“After decades of building large scale businesses in TV and media, I am excited to have the opportunity to work alongside visionary Sean Combs to get hands-on and redefine content models with a view to building a modern, relevant, global cultural brand,” added Khanna. “Revolt is ready to create and curate content and super-serve its audience on its own TV platform and beyond, living and breathing with its audience wherever they might be.”

Prior to MGM, Khanna served as the president of NBC Universal’s International Networks and Digital Initiatives, where she oversaw NBC Universal’s global cable entertainment channel portfolio. She started her career in digital content and production for web, mobile platforms, and music.
