Relativity Media will release "Season of the Witch" starring Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman and newcomer Claire Foy on Jan. 7, 2011, the studio announced Wednesday.
The film follows two medieval knights as they accompany a young woman accused of witchcraft to her trial at a remote abbey.
"Witch" was directed by Dominic Sena ("Swordfish") and produced by Charles Roven ("The Dark Knight"). The movie was initially to open in March 2010, and a trailer was released, but was pushed back.
