"The Real Housewives of New Jersey” returned for its second season on Monday and delivered record ratings for Bravo.
According to Nielsen Media Research, "Housewives" was the highest-rated Monday night telecast in Bravo’s history. The show’s 1.64 million adults 18-49 and 2.33 million total viewers were up 30 percent and 36 percent, respectively, compared with season one.
Bravotv.com also scored with the premiere, fueled by a live social media event on Bravotv.com and Ustream. Bravotv.com saw its best show site traffic for any series premiere in its history, with page views up 133 percent from the previous record holder, the season-five premiere of "Project Runway."
