After nearly nine years of marriage, Drew Sidora is splitting from her husband Ralph Pittman, joining the list of “Real Housewives” cast members who have filed for divorce while appearing on their respective shows.
On March 1, Sidora filed for divorce from Pittman in Gwinnett County, Georgia, saying their marriage was “irrevocably broken.” Pittman filed for divorce an hour later. In an amended filing, Sidora later accused Pittman of adultery and abuse.
Right behind Sidora is a long list of “Real Housewives” who have been there and done that when it comes to marital breakups. From separations to divorces to break-ups to make-ups and then breaking up again. Whether it’s the alleged “reality TV” curse or just life happening, there have been several housewives who left long-term and short-term marriages, and there may very well be more to come.
Here’s a list of all the housewives who have ever filed for divorce while on “Real Housewives.”
Luann de Lesseps and Count Alexandre de Lesseps (“The Real Housewives of New York”)
The cabaret queen had two on-camera marriages. Her first, and longest-running marriage, was with Count Alexandre de Lesseps. The two were married for 16 years (1993 to 2009), and brought two children into the world while together. Her second, and very short-lived marriage was with businessman Tom D’Agostino Jr. During “RHONY’s” ninth season, the former couple got engaged in and then called it quits after seven months together in Season 10.
Ramona Singer and Mario Singer (“The Real Housewives of New York”)
After 17 years together, Ramona and Mario Singer divorced after Mario’s very public affair in 2013. Shocking enough, a psychic predicted his infidelity during Season 4. While the incident became one of the most dramatic “Housewives” divorces of all-time, Ramona and Mario eventually rekindled a friend-only relationship, and her former husband even reappeared on the show in Season 11. The couple separated in 2014, and officially divorced in 2016. They share one child together.
Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy (“The Real Housewives of New York”)
Another major divorce that took place on “RHONY” was between Bethenny Frankel and businessman Jason Hoppy. Hoppy and Frankel got married in 2010, which prompted Bravo to give them their own spinoff series “Bethenny Getting Married?” After two years of marriage, they announced they split and filed for divorce a year later. It took eight years for their divorce to be finalized, having endured a years-long custody battle over their daughter.
Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi (“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”)
Weeks after filming for Season 11, Erika Jayne filed for divorce from her high-profile lawyer ex Tom Girardi after 21 years of marriage. Jayne met Tom when she was 27 and working at Chasen’s restaurant in Los Angeles. In her 2018 memoir “Pretty Mess,” Jayne shared she slipped Girardi her phone number, and Girardi reached out to her through his secretary. Six months later the two were married.
Since the filing, Girardi was disbarred and placed under custodial conservatorship after claiming to be suffering from dementia.
Porsha Williams and Kordell Stewart (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta”)
In 2013, Porsha Williams found out on Twitter that her husband of over two years, Kordell Stewart, filed for divorce. The former couple’s split was finalized in December of 2014. The two bore no children during their time together. Leaving her ex-NFL star behind, Porsha eventually moved on and got engaged to entrepreneur Dennis McKinley on “RHOA” Season 11. They never tied the knot, but did come together to make one child. Wedding bells never rang for Williams again on the show until her departure from the franchise in 2021. She married entrepreneur and philanthropist Simon Guobadia a year later.
Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta”)
After nearly nine years together, Drew Sidora and business consultant Ralph Pittman called it quits. The “RHOA” newbie and her hubby’s relationship woes were seen on Season 14, as the two struggled with rumors surrounding Pittman’s faithfulness to Sidora. On Feb. 27, Sidora filed for divorce an hour before Pittman. The two share two children together.
Shereé Whitfield and Bob Whitfield (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta”)
O.G. “RHOA” star Shereé Whitfiled was married to her ex-husband and former Atlanta Falcons footballer Bob Whitfield for seven years, and their relationship ending became a storyline during the very first season of the show. During Season 2, Whitfield celebrated her split by throwing herself a divorce party. After enduring some financial disputes from their breakup, Whitfield tried their hand at rekindling their romance after reconnecting at one of their two children’s birthday parties. But, the spark quickly died out.
Nene Leakes and Gregg Leakes (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta”)
One of the most beloved couples to watch in the entire “Housewives” universe was Nene and Gregg Leakes. The two met in 1996 when Leakes was working as a dancer at an Atlanta club and met the real estate investor. A year later the two got married and then spent 14 years together before getting divorced in 2011. The journey to their breakup was shown during the third and fourth seasons of “RHOA.” But the two found their ways back to one another, getting married in June 2013. Bravo gave the couple a seven-part special for their ceremony, which was called “I Dream of Nene.” After a years-long battle with colon cancer, Gregg died on September 1, 2021. The two share one child together.
Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta”)
Phaedra Parks — everyone’s favorite southern belle — was married to Apollo Nida, a businessman and personal trainer, for eight years before divorcing in 2017. Fans witnessed the two’s falling during the eighth season of “RHOA,” when Nida stormed onto the couple’s home in rage over Park’s changing the locks on their home, when he was supposed to be reporting to prison to serve time for fraud. During their marriage, the two gave life to two sons and they have since found love elsewhere.
Cynthia Bailey, Peter Thomas and Mike Hill (“The Real Housewives of Atlanta”)
The former “RHOA” star left the show on Season 13, but during her time on the franchise she settled down with two men: restaurateur Peter Thomas and sports journalist Mike Hill. Bailey seemed to always be a runaway bride, at least until she tied the knot with Thomas in 2010. Her marriage was part of Season 3, with the episode entitled “Cynthia’s Wedding Day!” The former couple’s marriage lasted seven years, and she found a new love in Hill a year later. Bailey and Hill got engaged that same year and were married in October 2020, which was part of her sendoff season. In 2022, Bailey and Hill divorced after just two years of marriage.
Terese Guidice and Joe Guidice (“The Real Housewives of New Jersey”)
Another long-term relationship that came to an end was between Teresa Giudice and former freelance contractor Joe Giudice. After more than 20 years and four children together, the couple called it quits after Joe was deported back to Italy following his 41-month imprisonment over various fraud charges. Not being able to deal with the long-distance relationship, they both separated and mutually settled their divorce in September 2020. Their split was part of “RHONJ’s” storyline on Season 10. Moving on, Teresa confirmed her relationship with entrepreneur Luis Ruelas, and were engaged the next year in October 2021. Bravo gave the couple their own special, which aired after the Season 13 finale.

The art dealer and now pop singer exited her marriage after 10 years in 2020.
Vicki Gunvalson and Donn Gunvalson (“The Real Housewives of Orange County”)
In 1994, Vicki Gunvalson married her second husband, construction supply executive Donn Gunvalson, and they stayed together for 17 years before divorcing in 2014 due to Vicki’s decision to be unfaithful. While the two’s divorce has yet to be finalized they both have moved on into new relationships.
Gina Kirschenheiter and Matthew Kirschenheiter (“The Real Housewives of Orange County”)
Gina Kirschenheiter and Matthew Kirschenheiter called it quits while filming Season 13 of “RHOC” in 2018. Prior to their end, the two got married in 2010 and had three children together.
