White House Crasher Gets D.C. ‘Housewives’ Gig

Bravo reveals list of the five women who will star in the upcoming reality series

Bravo has announced the names of the five ladies who will star in "The Real Housewives of D.C." — including noted White House party crasher Michaele Salahi.

Salahi and her husband, Tareq, caused a scandal when they crashed President Obama's first White House state dinner in November 2009. They were busted after they published photos of the evening on Facebook.

However, it appears they have been part of Bravo's plans all along; the network's crews have been filming the Salahis since mid-September.

"The Real Housewives of D.C." premieres Aug. 5 at 9 p.m. It will be the sixth installment in Bravo's "Real Housewives" franchise.

The network's wealthy Capitol City women are modeling agency owner Lynda Erkiletian, Mary Schmidt Amons, Stacie Scott Turner, Catherine Ashley Ommaney and Michaele Salahi.
