Ray Romano is coming back to the small screen. At least for a little while.
The former "Everybody Loves Raymond" star has signed on for a multi-episode arc on the upcoming fourth season of the NBC drama "Parenthood," the network said Tuesday.

Romano will play a photographer and former photo-journalist who becomes friends with Lauren Graham's character Sarah Braverman, and subsequently complicates her relationship with Mark Cyr (played by Jason Ritter).
Romano's character will be introduced during the season premiere, which airs Sept. 11 at 10 p.m.
Romano — whose most recent series, the Peabody-winning "Men of a Certain Age," was axed by TNT last July — has recently provided voice work for the "Ice Age" series of animated films, lending his nasally tone to the character of woolly mammoth Manny.
