Ratings: Univision Tops Big 4 With ‘Premios’ Awards Show

ABC lands in second place with “Wipeout”; Fox, NBC hit bottom

Univision beat all four of the major broadcast networks on Thursday night with the 2010 "Premios Juventud" awards show. The Spanish language broadcaster had the highest ratings among the key adults 18-49 demographic, beating second place ABC by 14 percent.

TOP PRIZE Univision scored a 2.1 rating/7 share among adults 18-49 with the three-hour "Premios Juventud." The six-year-old ceremony honoring Latino celebrities in movies, TV, sports and music. This year's telecast featured performances from Shakira and Enrique Iglesias.

LOOKING UP ABC landed in second place with a 1.8/6 behind the obstacle course game show "Wipeout," which scored 2.5/9 from 8-9 p.m. ABC also saw the audiences for the cop show "Rookie Blue" and the hospital doc "Boston Med" increase. "Rookie Blue" was up 13 percent from last week and "Boston Med" was up 18 percent.

BRO-DOWN CBS was just one 10th of a point behind ABC averaging 1.7/6 with a new episode of "Big Brother" and repeats of "CSI" and "The Mentalist." "Big Brother" scored 2.3/9. down eight percent from last week.

LOW END THEORY NBC and Fox were on the bottom of the ratings charts. Fox averaged 1.5/5 with a rerun of "Glee" and a results episode of "So You Think You Can Dance," where there were no surprises after an injury to one of the contestants. NBC landed in last place, averaging 1.0/3 with repeats of "Community," "30 Rock," "The Office," "Parks and Recreation" and "Law & Order SVU."
