They’re breaking out the dick towels at FX: "It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia" has finished the season with its best ratings ever.
The offbeat and outrageous comedy’s fifth cycle attracted its biggest average audience ever, according to Nielsen, drawing nearly 1.8 million viewers. Roughly 1.42 million of said pairs of eyeballs were between the ages of 18-49.
"Sunny" improved its demo score by 52 percent vs. season four. Its previous season high in adults came during season three, when the show averaged 967,000 young adults.
Also having a solid season: The first-year FX comedy "The League." It averaged 1.09 million viewers; 880,000 were adults 18-49. FX has already ordered a second season of the show.
