Ratings: ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Goes Out on a High Note, Giving ABC the Night

Though down from last year's finale, "Dancing With the Stars: All Stars" got its highest ratings of the season

The finale of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars" gave the series its highest numbers of the season, helping to push the network to a ratings win Tuesday night, according to preliminary numbers.

ABC grabbed a narrow first place in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic with a 2.8 rating/7 share and second place in total viewers with 13.9 million.

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" at 8 was down slightly from last year's airing, drawing a 2.4/7 with 8.4 million total viewers, while "Shrek the Halls" at 8:30 also dropped modestly from last year, grabbing a 2.5/7 with 8.4 million total viewers.
