Ratings: CBS and ‘Big Brother’ Rule Repeat-Heavy Night

Fox’s all-rerun slate tops ABC for No. 2 in the key demo

CBS and “Big Brother” won a repeat-heavy Sunday, according to preliminary numbers.

CBS averaged a 1.1 rating/4 share in the 18-49 demographic and 6.1 million total viewers. “Big Brother” at 8 p.m. was the top-rated show with a 2.1/8 and the third most-watched show with 6.4 million total viewers. (A “60 Minutes ” rerun was the night’s most-watched show with 7.7 million total viewers.) “Unforgettable” at 9 had a 1.0/3 and 6.4 million total viewers, the second-most of the night. “Reckless” at 10 had a .6/2 and 4.1 million total viewers.

Fox, airing all reruns, was second in the demo with a 1.0 and fourth in total viewers, averaging 2.2 million.

ABC was third in the ratings with a .9/3 and second in total viewers with 4.1 million. “Wipeout” at 8 had a 1.0/4 and 3.8 million. “Rising Star” at 10 had a 1.0/3 and 4.1 million. A “Castle” rerun followed.

NBC, airing all reruns, was fourth in the ratings with a .8/3 and third in viewers with 2.9 million.

Univision was fifth in ratings and viewers with a .6/2 and 1.9 million. Telemundo followed with a .4/1 and 829,000.
