ABC's "Bachelorette" Ali Fedotowsky isn't a large woman, but she's an absolute ratings juggernaut.
ABC won Monday night for the fourth week in a row thanks to a strong performance from the reality show. The network had 50 percent more viewers than second-place CBS.
HIGH FIVE "Bachelorette" got season-high ratings on Monday night, winning its time slot for the fifth straight week. The show scored its biggest numbers in five years in the key adults 18-49 demographic. "Bachelorette" posted an average 3.1 rating/9 share from 8-10 p.m., up 15 percent from last week's broadcast. Excluding season finales, Monday night's episode of "The Bachelorette" was the show's biggest audience since February 2004.
REPEAT PERFORMANCE Fox came in third averaging 1.6/5 from 8-10 p.m. with new episodes of the scripted original series "Lie To Me" and "The Good Guys." "Lie To Me" scored 1.9/6, up 6 percent from last week's telecast. "Good Guys" posted a 1.2/3, down slightly from last week. In spite of the new episodes, Fox lost out to a night of repeats on CBS. CBS averaged 1.8/5 with re-runs of "How I Met Your Mother," "Rules of Engagement," "Two and a Half Men," "Big Bang Theory," and "CSI: Miami."
THE BASEMENT NBC was in last place for the second week in a row. Mystery thriller "Persons Unknown" had its lowest-rated telecast so far this summer scoring 0.9/3 from 8-9 p.m. "Last Comic Standing" averaged 1.6/5 from 9-11 p.m., down 11 percent from last week.
