Woof, woof! “The Arsenio Hall Show” claimed a win in two key demos in its debut Monday, according to preliminary numbers.
The show beat every other late night talk show in both the 18-49 and 25-54 demos, in which it scored a 1.0 and 1.2, respectively, in 25 top markets. Full numbers, including total viewers, were not immediately available.
Leno probably won’t mind losing to Hall in the host’s return to syndication, 19 years after his last talk show left the airwaves. The “Tonight Show” host stopped in for Monday’s episode to play therapist to Hall.
In the 25 markets, the 18-49 ratings were a 0.6 for “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.5 for “The Late Show With David Letterman,” which was delayed by primetime overrun, and 0.8 for “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
More to come…
