Ratings: ‘Talent’ Top Rated as Fox Wins Night Overall

“Big Brother” slips 12 percent; “Love in the Wild” climbs 7 percent

"America's Got Talent" grabbed the night's top ratings for NBC on Wednesday, while Fox won the evening overall with "So You Think You Can Dance," according to preliminary numbers.

"Talent" at 9 p.m. tied its summer low with a 2.7 rating/8 share in the adults 18-49 demographic and 10.3 million total viewers. It was preceded at 8 by "Minute to Win it," which was down 15 percent versus its last original broadcast on July 13 with a 1.1/4 in the demo and 4.7 million total viewers. "Love in the Wild" closed the night for the network at 10, enjoying a 7 percent uptick with a 1.8/5 in the demo and 5.1 million total viewers.

Fox won the overall night in the demo, thanks to "So You Think You Can Dance," which aired from 8-10 and garnered a 2.0/6 and 5.9 million total viewers, a 5 percent increase in total viewership over last week.

ABC ran repeats throughout the night, save for "Primetime Nightline: Beyond Belief," which received a 1.0/3 in the demo and 3.4 million total viewers.

CBS' "Big Brother" at 8 was the second-highest rated show of the night despite a 12 percent dip from last week, with a 2.3/8 in the demo and 6.6 million total viewers. Otherwise CBS aired repeats.
