Ratings: ‘America’s Got Talent’ Pushes NBC to Victory

Despite minor decline, "America's Got Talent" draws top numbers in key demo and total viewers

Though down slightly from last week, "America's Got Talent" drove NBC to an overall win Tuesday night, according to preliminary numbers.

NBC took first place in the advertiser-desired 18-49 demographic with a 2.0 rating/3 share, and in total viewers with 7.9 million. Repeats of the network's new "Go On" and "Animal Practice" followed.

Fox drew second place in ratings with a 1.9/6 and third in total viewers with 4.7 million. Following a "MasterChef" repeat at 8, an original episode of the series drew a 2.4/7, even with last week. It increased slightly in total viewers to 5.9 million.

ABC took fourth place in ratings and total viewers with a 0.8/2 and 3 million. The network aired reruns with the exception of "NY Med" at 10, which drew even in the demo with a 1.0/3 and received 4 million total viewers.
