NBC took the evening's top honors Wednesday night, while Fox's 'So You Think You Can Dance' dipped in the ratings, according to preliminary numbers.
"Talent" at 9 p.m. was down 16 percent from last week's performance episode on Tuesday but easily beat out the competition, garnering a 3.6 rating/10 share in the adults 18-49 demographic and 12.2 million total viewers. The network's night started with "Minute to Win It" at 8, which drew a 1.3/4 in the demo and 4.6 million total viewers.
Fox received the evening's second-best ratings with a two-hour "So You Think You Can Dance" at 8, which was down 10 percent from last Wednesday's airing with a 2.8/8 in the demo and 7.1 million total viewers.
ABC ran mostly repeats Wednesday night, with the sole exception being the "20/20" reality TV special "Reality Rule$" at 10, which drew a 1.2/3 in the demo and 3.5 million total viewers. Back-to-back reruns of "The Middle" at 8 and 8:30 received a 1.1/4 and 1.2/4 in the demo, respectively, with 4.5 million and 4.2 million total viewers. "Modern Family" repeats at 9 and 9:30 grabbed a 1.6/5 and 1.7/5 in the demo, with 4.4 million and 4.3 million total viewers.
CBS' evening consisted of an "Undercover Boss" repeat at 8 (1.0/3 in the demo; 4.3 million total viewers); a "Criminal Minds" rerun the following hour (1.1/3 in the demo; 5.7 million total viewers); and a "Blue Bloods" repeat at 10 (1.0/3 in the demo; 6.1 million total viewers).
