“America’s Got Talent” celebrated its 10th anniversary by leading NBC to an outright Wednesday win, while a solid “Last Comic Standing” offered key assistance.
While “AGT” was the biggest show of the night in total viewers, CBS’ “Big Brother” topped the key 18-49 demographic. Fox finished second in the main demo last night.
NBC was first in ratings with a 1.6 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 7.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. The “AGT” 10th anniversary special at 8 p.m. posted a 1.6/6 and 7.7 million viewers. “Last Comic Standing” at 10 received a 1.4/5 and 5.8 million viewers.
Fox was second in ratings with a 1.2/5 and third in viewers with 3.8 million. “MasterChef” at 8 had a 1.4/6 and 4.6 million viewers. “Home Free” at 9 got a 0.9/3 and 3.1 million viewers.
CBS was third in ratings with a 1.1/4 and second in viewers with 5 million. “Big Brother” at 8 earned a 1.8/7 and 5.7 million viewers. “Extant” at 9 had a 0.7/3 and 4.3 million viewers. A rerun followed.
ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and in viewers with 3.2 million. Following repeats, “Celebrity Wife Swap” at 10 got a 0.8/3 and 3.1 million viewers.
Univision and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.7/3. Univision was fifth in total viewers with 2 million; Telemundo was sixth with 1.6 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 736,000, airing just reruns.
