Technical problems at Nielsen kept fast national ratings numbers from being released Friday morning following a night when four broadcast networks tied for first place in primetime.
FOUR-WAY FINISH ABC, CBS, Fox and Spanish-language channel Univision shared the top spot on Thursday night, each averaging a 1.7 rating/6 share in the key adults 18-49 demographic.
LOW POINT ABC may have had a piece of first place, but the network's numbers didn't look so hot. Obstacle-course game show "Wipeout" posted a 2.6/9, up 4 percent from last week, but ABC's other two shows had record low ratings. "Rookie Blue," which has been strong so far this summer, scored a 1.5/5, and "Boston Med" scored a 1.1/4. Both shows tied their lowest-rated telecasts ever and were down over ten percent from last week.
ALL ALONE NBC was by itself on the bottom of the scoreboard. It earned a lowly 1.1/4 average from 8-11 p.m. with an all-repeat lineup of "Community," "30 Rock," "The Office," "Parks & Recreation" and "Law & Order SVU."
