NBC topped Tuesday in the key demo thanks to “The Voice,” while CBS pulled a total viewer victory via its lineup of procedurals.
That said, CBS’s full run slipped to tie series lows. Also tying a low was ABC’s “Forever,” which percentage-wise has the nights largest drop, down 18 percent from last week.
NBC was first in ratings with a 2.4 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 10.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. earned a night-high 2.7/9 and 10.9 million viewers. “Chicago Fire” at 10 received a 2.0/6 and 8.5 million viewers.
CBS was second in ratings with a 1.7/5 and first in viewers with 13.1 million. “NCIS” at 8 had a 2.1/7 and primetime-best 16.5 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” at 9 got a 1.6/5 and 14 million viewers. “Person of Interest” at 10 posted a 1.3/4 and 8.7 million viewers.
ABC was third in ratings with a 1.2/4 and in viewers with 4.2 million. “Fresh Off the Boat” at 8 had a 1.4/5 and 4.8 million viewers. Following a rerun, “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” at 9 got a 1.5/5 and 4.2 million viewers. “Forever” at 10 slipped to a 0.9/3 and 4 million viewers.
Fox and Univision tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 1.0/3. Univision was fourth in total viewers with 2.72 million, Fox was fifth with 2.71 million.
For Fox, “Hell’s Kitchen” at 8 had a 1.2/4 and 3.5 million viewers. “New Girl” at 9 got a 0.9/3 and 2.2 million viewers. “Weird Loners” at 10 received a 0.7/2 and 1.7 million viewers.
The CW was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.7 million. Following a repeat, “iZombie” at 9 posted a 0.7/2 and 1.8 million viewers.
Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.2 million.
