Longtime “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson has signed an overall producing deal with Endemol Shine North America, co-chairmen and co-CEO’s Cris Abrego and Charlie Corwin announced Wednesday.

Programming from the company already includes “Big Brother” (CBS), “The Biggest Loser” (NBC), “Hell on Wheels” (AMC), “Kingdom” (DirecTV), “MasterChef” (FOX), “MasterChef Junior” (FOX), as well as new summer programs “The Island” (NBC) and “Bullseye” (FOX).
“I am so excited to be joining the Endemol Shine family and embark on this journey with one of the best companies in the world,” Jackson said in a statement. “Cris and Charlie are incredible leaders. I look forward to working with them and creating some magic.”
Before turning to TV, Jackson was a songwriter and music producer. The Grammy winner has worked with artists including Smokey Robinson, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Bruce Springstein and Madonna.
Jackson is represented by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
