Out on Feb. 18, 2001, just in time for a post-Valentine evening out, the adaptation of the James Frey (remember him?) and Jobie Hughes novel could have franchise written all over it. It has teens, true love, war, alienation, and, if that wasn't enough, aliens themselves in it — everything you need for a hit. Alex Pettyfer is the title character, the fourth of nine alien children on Earth to escape the other aliens who destroyed their planet. As Number Four tries to hide himself among humans, the Mogadorians come looking for the last nine Loriens … well, you know what that means.
