Drew and Jonathan Scott, a.k.a. HGTV’s Property Brothers, announced the name of their new quarterly Meredith magazine: “Reveal.”
In a joint statement released Wednesday, the twins explained, “The word ‘Reveal’ perfectly captures the mood of the magazine. We plan to reveal more about ourselves and showcase incredible people whose lives and work inspires us.
“It’s all about simple steps to get the most out of life and there will be no shortage of tips and tricks to make it happen,” they added.
The tag line of the magazine, which will debut on Jan. 10, 2020 debut priced at $9.99, is: “It all starts at home.”
According to the release, the quarterly will “share the twin brothers’ ‘dream big’ philosophy on life.” There will, of course, be sections on home décor and design, but also on entertaining, family, food, travel, and more.
Meredith has already begun soliciting a “premium pricing” annual subscription for $20, which would cut the price for yearly customers by about half.
The Scotts regularly dominate ratings. In June, their latest show, “Property Brothers: Forever Home,” earned HGTV its highest-rated series premiere in more than two years. It is produced by Scott Brothers Entertainment and the twins, who are also spokespeople for brands like ADT and Chase Bank, are the show’s executive producers.
