“Project Runway” has set a date for its return to Bravo.
The fashion competition series, which will have two new hosts as it returns to its original network, will premiere on Bravo Thursday, March 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Each episode will be 90 minutes long.
Karlie Kloss and former winner Christian Siriano will topline the reboot as host and mentor respectively. Kloss and Siriano, who took home the trophy on the fourth season of the show, step in for Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, who exited the show last month for a new fashion-centric reality TV project at Amazon.
The two are joined on the new iteration of the fashion design competition by returning judge Nina Garcia, fashion designer Brandon Maxwell and former Teen Vogue editor in chief Elaine Welteroth. This season will also feature special guests including Cardi B, designed Dapper Dan, actress Danielle Brooks and Marni Senofonte, who is Kendall Jenner’s personal stylist as well as the stylist behind Beyoncé’s Lemonade and Super Bowl 50 looks.
The winning designer will receive the largest prize in the show’s history– $250,000 furnished by the Pilot’s FriXion Erasable Gel Ink Pen –a feature in ELLE, and his or her own featured role in a Bluprint digital series as well as $50,000 to put toward their own design studio, also courtesy of Bluprint.
“Project Runway” returns to its original network as part of a deal between Bravo Media LLC and Lantern Entertainment LLC. Magical Elves, the original production company behind “Project Runway,” will return to the fashion design competition show as it moves back to Bravo.
The company, which also produces “Top Chef,” produced the first five seasons of “Project Runway” before the show was moved to Lifetime in 2008. Lifetime parent company A+E Networks dropped the Weinstein Company-produced show amid the Harvey Weinstein sexual misconduct scandal in 2017.
