“Westworld,” “Atlanta,” “Black Mirror” and “Stranger Things”  are among the television series nominated by the Producers Guild of America for the 2017 Producers Guild Awards, the PGA announced on Thursday.

In the drama-series category, 2016 nominees “Game of Thrones,” “Better Call Saul” and “House of Cards” were joined by new series “Stranger Things” and “Westworld.”

On the comedy side, returning nominees “Modern Family” “Silicon Valley” and “Veep” will compete against first-time nominees “Atlanta” and “black-ish.”

In the longform category, the nominees were “Black Mirror,” “The Night Manager,” “The Night Of,” “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” and “Sherlock: The Abominable Bride.”

The PGA also announced nominees in television specials, children’s programs, sports programs and digital series categories.

While the different eligibility calendars mean that the Producers Guild television awards are not nearly as reliable an Emmy predictor as its film honors are for the Oscars, the majority of PGA nominees do have success with Emmy voters. Recent series that have won both awards in the same year include “Modern Family,” “Game of Thrones,” “Breaking Bad” and “Homeland.”

The Producers Guild’s theatrical motion picture nominations will be announced next Tuesday, January 10, with the 2017 Producers Guild Awards ceremony taking place on Saturday, January 28. That will make it the first of the four major Hollywood guilds to hand out awards, followed by the Screen Actors Guild on January 29, the Directors Guild on February 4 and the Writers Guild on February 19.
