Producers Guild Sets Date for 2015 PGA Awards

The film, TV and new media honors will be handed out on Jan. 24

The 2015 Producers Guild Awards will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

The PGA on Monday announced next year’s date for the awards, which honor excellence in motion pictures, TV and new media productions.

At this year’s awards las month, the Producers Guild of America Awards ended in a shocking and unprecedented dead heat, with “Gravity” and “12 Years a Slave” tying for the top film award.

The Producers Guild held its first-ever Golden Laurel Awards, which were renamed the Producers Guild Awards in 2002, in 1990. Richard Zanuck and Lili Fini Zanuck took home the award for Best Produced Motion Picture for “Driving Miss Daisy.”
