I. Marlene King has signed on to talent and literary agency William Morris Endeavor (WME), TheWrap confirms. She was previously with Gersh.
King serves as an executive producer and co-showrunner on ABC Family’s most-watched show, “Pretty Little Liars.”
She is also co-writing and executive producing the teen drama’s recently announced spinoff, “Ravenswood,” which has a 10-episode order from ABC Family. The series will follow five strangers whose lives become intertwined by a deadly curse that has plagued their Pennsylvania town for generations.
King’s previous credits include writing one of the segments on HBO’s 1996 anthology film, “If These Walls Could Talk,” and the 2006 Lindsay Lohan movie, “Just My Luck.”
“Pretty Little Liars” returns for its fourth season on Tuesday, June 11. “Ravenswood” is set to debut in late October after the “PLL” Halloween episode.
The writer/producer is also represented by Morris Yorn Barnes Levine Krintzman Rubenstein Kohner & Gellman.
